Choosing a flight school is anything but easy. As an international student, it becomes even more difficult. Having been to a few schools around the United States and Canada, I finally found exactly what I was looking for in Silverhawk. The family atmosphere, one on one instruction, and fully customizable schedule really accelerates your education. I was free learn my way and at my pace. I've worked and lived all over the world, and rarely have I seen a company where all the staff get along, it's like a big family, and you're welcomed into it as soon as you arrive. Foreign students, like myself, don't have to waste any time with that initial, awkward "getting to know the area and making friends" stage. Student housing is clean and comfortable, and less then a kilometer from department stores, grocery stores, and the flight school. I was extremely impressed with the quality of aircraft and the attention to detail exibited by the maintenance staff and instructors. I come from a bush pilot background and rarely see aircraft so spotless and clean. I would highly recommend Silverhawk to any student looking for a well balanced and through education.
