Why Train in the USA
The USA has the most developed helicopter industry in the world. For the past 50 years, helicopter instruction has grown and thrived throughout the country. Because of the helicopter experience that has been acquired, the United States can boast of some of the most standardized aviation procedures and protocols in the world.
In India, there is currently only one training center which can only accommodate 18 students a year. This course takes 18 months and is done in older, fewer, and larger aircraft—which means a significant increase in the cost of training and a much longer time to acquire your helicopter license.

Our program provides you efficient lessons in both the classroom and in the air so that you can complete your training in just 6 months. We provide 6 helicopters, which are constantly kept up to safety regulations by two of our own full time helicopter mechanics. This means you will be able to fly when you want to fly. Additionally, we have 8 certified helicopter instructors, which will be able to accommodate to your schedule and pace of learning in a one-to-one classroom environment where you can ask all the questions you want. Our students consistently graduate with outstanding marks on all written exams and demonstrate a very thorough knowledge in all categories of aeronautical knowledge.
Our training facility provides students to graduate with training costs substantially less than overseas flight schools and other flight schools in the USA. We are able to do this because of our ability to provide both ground lessons and flight time to the student when he or she desires it. We boast a very affordable all-inclusive flight training cost of $46,380 which includes 150 hours of flight time and 90 hours of personalized ground school, 6 months of comfortable accommodation, local transportation, examiners fees, check rides, tests, a medical exam, and all supplies needed for helicopter flight training. Additionally, you will be certified in two aircraft, R-22 and R-44, which allow you to boast masteries in two different aircraft upon graduation. There are no hidden costs and no gimmicks. DGCA Requirements
Silverhawk Aviation Academy trains Indian students to be both FAA certified and qualified to fulfill all the requirements needed for your DGCA transfer. Additional ground study of Indian airspace is necessary for success on the DGCA written exams, however we will help you aquire the necessary materials and information for this conversion. Global Avianautics assists students with all the requirements to arrive in the United States including Visa, SEVIS application, finger printing, TSA application GAL will be also be providing ground training for DGCA conversion, and will assist the students for DGCA written test & job placement.
