I grew up in Boise and spent a lot of time in the mountains up in Pine ID. I’m a “soon to be” Dad, and really looking forward to spending time with my kid. I enjoy hanging out with my nieces and nephews, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, coaching Upwards Basketball, and flying any chance I get.

I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of being a pilot, just never dreamed it could be a reality. I was faced with an opportunity to change career paths after working ten years in the Auto Glass Industry. I had a strong desire to find a career that not only was challenging, but fulfilling at the same time. Also wanted it to be a career I could see myself continuing up to retirement age. After a year of research and serious consideration, I came up with the conclusion: what better career than to become a helicopter pilot? It almost sounded too good to be true; but here I am, loving every moment. I started training with Silverhawk in November, 2008 and was hired as a flight instructor in January 2011.
