Since 1998, Silverhawk Aviation Academy has mentored, guided, and prepared students for successful careers in the aviation industry. We are Idaho’s only FAA-approved Part 141 flight school offering both airplane and helicopter training, providing a structured, proven pathway from first flight through professional certification.
Students train one-on-one with certified flight instructors who tailor instruction to individual learning styles while maintaining rigorous FAA standards. Our full-time, on-site maintenance team ensures our fleet of Robinson helicopters and Cessna airplanes is meticulously maintained and mission-ready... so your training stays safe, efficient, and on schedule.

TOUR WITH A CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR
You'll receive ground instruction and hands-on flight instruction, which counts as qualified flight time toward your ratings. Afterward, you'll have the opportunity to sit down with a member of our staff and learn more about your flight training options. Not only is this extremely fun and a great way to experience the thrill of flying, but it can also help you make the important decision to commit to a flight training program. Plus, you'll meet the Silverhawk family: from the owner, chief and CFI's, to our maintenance team and administrative staff. This will be your support system in and out of the hangar, and they're here for you every step of the way.
