HOUSING OVERVIEW
Silverhawk Aviation Academy has a limited amount of rental housing available to students on a first-come-first-serve basis. Rooms rent for $450 - $625 per month, depending on bathrooms, and have shared use of all other common areas. All utilities are included and wireless internet is provided. TV services are at the tenant's expense.
These properties are located in Caldwell ID, approximately 2 miles from the hangar. There is no public transportation system, so plan for alternatives. Caldwell is approximately 25 miles from the nearest commercial airport, located in our state capital of Boise. The average commute from Caldwell to Boise is 30-40 minutes each way. The metropolis area encompassing Boise and Caldwell is also known as the Treasure Valley.

Many of our students and staff opt to live in Boise, however, the cost of living is higher in this area and the commute can be tiresome for some. Nevertheless, we believe wherever you live in the Treasure Valley you’ll be very content. Idahoans are notorious for their friendly demeanor and willingness to help others in need, so whether you live in Caldwell, Boise, Nampa, Meridian, Eagle, Star or any of the other towns near our academy, we believe you’ll be happy with your decision.
